Doctor Who - Dead Air CD Info

Here is the Info and Cover for the new Doctor Who audiobook called Dead Air, this includes cover and Info:

‘Hello, I’m the Doctor. And, if you can hear this, then one of us is going to die.’ At the bottom of the sea, in the wreck of a floating radio station, a lost recording has been discovered. After careful restoration, it is played for the first time – to reveal something incredible. It is the voice of the Doctor, broadcasting from Radio Bravo in 1966. He has travelled to Earth in search of the Hush – a terrible weapon that kills, silences and devours anything that makes noise – and has tracked it to a boat crewed by a team of pirate DJs. With the help of feisty Liverpudlian Layla and some groovy pop music, he must trap the Hush and destroy it – before it can escape and destroy the world. Written specially for audio by James Goss and read by David Tennant, Dead Air features the Doctor as played by David Tennant in the acclaimed hit series from BBC Television.

New Doctor Who Game in Development?

BBC Worldwide is in talks to develop its key products into digital games in a move which could see Doctor Who appearing on many platforms such as DS, Wii, iPhone and Facebook. The move, reported by MCV, is a turnaround for BBC Worldwide which had retreated from the games business after poor sales caused the closure of its multimedia division in 2005. The broadcaster is now engaging with software developers to produce high profile versions of its top series such as Doctor Who, Top Gear and The Night Garden, for the games market. Neil Ross Russell, head of Children's and Licensing said the BBC owns the rights to the most well known line up of Children characters around the world outside of Disney. "We are open to conversations with anybody in games about all kinds of business models to see how we can extract more value." To help develop the brands BBC Worldwide has recruited former EA and Yahoo executive Robert Nashak as Executive Vice President of digital entertainment.

If I get time it'll be a thrill, I can't think of anything nicer." Fry had previously been in talks with the BBC about writing an episode in 2005, but the project never materialised. "The window passed, and I never really got round to it," said Fry. "But I'm very happy to have had the experience of thinking about it."

Doctor Who and David Tennant won at the NTA's!

Last Night, the National Television Awards aired with all the awards given out, two standed out and i think we know who they are. David Tennant won an NTA award last night for Best Drama Peformance. Voting has been open all month and the actor faced competition from David Jason (A Touch of Frost), David Threlfall (Shameless) and Philip Glenister (Ashes to Ashes). But it’s his acclaimed portrayal of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who that’s taking home the prestigious title for the fourth year in a row.

Doctor Who also won an award for Most Popular Drama. The series was up against Casualty, Shameless and The Bill in the category, but, naturally, the best programme in the cosmos managed to reign supreme at tonight’s ceremony!
